Ok well it might not be the world's greatest, but it was voted as the 2nd snowiest resort in the world thanks to Forbes Traveler. The Niseko area averages around 15 meters of snow each season, the snow conditions are becoming world renowned for being some of the lightest powder on the planet! We have to agree!

Where Is This Winter Wonderland?

Niseko is located on the northern island of Japan about 2.5 hours West of Sapporo. Niseko is located very close to Siberia and this is were Niseko receives its cold winter storm fronts from that puke down snow!
